Capitol Hill is getting craftier by the Sunday with the help of Art Ache. The monthly local market was launched this September at Vermillion Art Gallery and Bar (just a few doors down from Grim’s and Purr) and has quickly become the most talked about local market collective in the city.
Although Vermillion wasn’t the first on Capitol Hill to feature a local artists market they have been one of the only to successfully utilize event producers who organize a market that is curated to compliment the venue. You’ll find everyone from the Etsy crafts(wo)man to vintage-selling pervayors to fine art afficianatos; all providing enough range in both price tag and product to appeal to everyone.
Art Ache will be going on TODAY from 3-8pm. This month is a holiday market showcase so that you Capitol Hill diehards can get drunk, finish holiday shopping, get cultured and not even have to leave the hill this Winter Season. OR EVER.
